It was great to see a recent former member of the group take on the role of Director and a very good job he made of it.  There was plenty of well organised and interesting movement with good use of all the facilities, including the stage space.  Davids preparation of the music ensured good and confident singing at all times and also working well with the background music.  There were good performances from all the cast with the younger members more than holding their own.  The three young ladies playing Alice sang and acted beautifully, especially Emma Roome as small Alice who was super.  There were many very good character roles, too many to mention them all, but Rachel Hill (White Rabbit) and James Murray (Mad Hatter) gave excellent performances and Emma Gregory was a lovely Dormouse. The three Cheshire Cats, Sam Jones, Rob Palin and Cassie Hall kept the story and the show going smoothly.  Good choreography blended well with the action.  The costumes, props and lighting all added to the production.  Unfortunately, there was a technical problem but the young cast took it in their stride – full marks.  Good entertainment with an abundance of talent to ensure the future of performing arts.
